The Skåneleden hiking trail is one of Sweden’s longest and best maintained. With a total length of 1 200 km, it runs through a wide range of landscapes. The authors are freelance journalist Caroline Alesmark and nature guide Kenneth Joelsson. Caroline regularly writes about cultural history and nature. This is her fifth book; her previous publications include a children’s guide to Skåne. Kenneth has long experience of the Skåneleden trail. He guides hikers both on Skåne’s hills and through European mountain areas, and has a particular interest in the connection between the natural environment and personal wellbeing.
